Walk, talk, support NAMIWalks for the Mind of America. We need your help!
THE FACTS: In any given year, over 5 million Americans suffer from an acute episode of severe mental illness. According to recent estimates, the total cost of mental illnesses on the nation is a staggering 81 billion dollars!!
WHAT: NAMIWalks 2007 gear up for annual walk--State and Nationally
WHY: To help promote public awareness about mental illness and raise dollars to provide Support, Education and Advocacy services to families here in Pennsylvania and across the country.
HOW CAN YOU HELP? Gather sponsors--$$$, grab your walking shoes, and join the two mile walk around the Capitol building. If you cannot participate, you can make a contribution to help the cause. No amount is too small. You can now contribute 'on line'= http://namipa.nami.org
